Downtown North Wilkesboro has welcomed a new addition with character through the opening of C’est La Vin Wine & Provisions at 718 Main Street. Officially launched on April 11, the business invites visitors to slow down, connect, and enjoy a curated selection of wine and locally sourced provisions in a thoughtfully designed space.
Owned and operated by Paula Horton, C’est La Vin is more than a retail shop—it’s a community gathering place blending hospitality with craftsmanship. From the custom resin bar top to inviting outdoor seating and elegant signage, every detail reflects the owners’ vision of creating a place where guests can relax and connect.
With guidance from Wilkes EDC President LeeAnn Nixon and North Wilkesboro Community Development Director Taylor Berry, Paula and Alyce explored several properties before selecting 718 Main Street. The site’s potential, paired with their vision, has made it a vibrant part of downtown’s growing energy.
C’est La Vin also received a $2,500 award through the Wilkes EDC’s Spring 2025 Entrepreneur Grant Program, supporting early investments like signage, furnishings, and their signature bar top.
In addition to the curated shop experience, C’est La Vin partners with local businesses—offering Chappy Crepes every Sunday and hosting private events to strengthen community connections.
