On February 27, Wilkes EDC President LeeAnn Nixon and Business Development Director David Icenhour conducted a Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) visit and tour with Allura Manufacturing Plant Manager Cory Kilby and Human Resources Manager Ben Nichols.

· Allura is a major producer of fiber cement siding distributed across the U.S.
· Allura’s Wilkes County facility is approximately 275,000 square feet in size and sits on a 23-acre parcel on Abtco Road in Roaring River.
· Allura has a workforce of 138 full-time employees and experiences a very low turnover ratio of only two percent.
· Allura and sister company, Plycem, are part of the Elementia Materiales family of companies which, in 2023, included 22 production facilities with 5,000 employees spread across North and South America.
